What We Believe
We believe that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are equally God.
We believe that Jesus was God in the flesh, sent to reveal the Father, to save us, to set a perfect example, to establish His church, to send His Holy Spirit and to return one day to take us home.
We believe that as God the Holy Spirit inspired the writing of the Bible, convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and gives assurance and guidance to each individual Christian.
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word, Old and New Testaments, to be studied to know God’s will and His Son.
We believe that God sent his Son to die, be buried, be resurrected, and to provide convincing proofs that He is the Son of God. This is the gospel, the power of God to save. We believe that our response to the gospel is to understand it and accept it by believing the truth about Jesus and the truth about our sin, repenting of this sin, confessing Jesus as Lord and being united with Him in baptism. We believe that in baptism God forgives our sins, gives us His Holy Spirit, puts us into Christ where all spiritual blessings are, and makes us a member of the body of Christ, His church.
We believe there is one church universal with many local church bodies, and that both are important. We believe that a person is expected by God to participate in the life of the local church for the building up of the body of Christ.
We believe that God designed marriage to be between one man and one woman for life, and children are to be raised by godly parents.
We believe that all Christians are disciples of Christ and should be committed to personal growth into the likeness of Jesus.
We invite you to ask us any question and to give us an opportunity to share with you from God’s Word what we believe about any matter.
